About Us

Family Advocates for Suicide Prevention (FASP) is an emerging grassroots organization formed with the assistance of the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation (OSPF). We are led by those who have lost family members to suicide and are dedicated to making a positive difference in our community.

Our Mission

Through advocacy and education, FASP works to end the stigma surrounding the topic of suicide in order to save those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts and ideation, as well as support those suffering from the loss of a loved one.

Our Purpose

Using our experience of loss to stop suicide and ease the suffering of others.

Reach Out

We are FASP – members of a club we never sought to join. We’ve come together in an effort to make certain our club expands as little as possible. If you have lost someone to suicide and you are looking for a community of support, we are here for you. Contact us today to get involved.
